“ Cute little place kinda hidden away. Definitely worth checking out. The fried zucchini was probably the best I've ever had. Service was excellent and the food came out fast and fresh! ”
“ Had lunch here today with my wife and son. Fantastic is how I would describe the food and service. A must visit. I had the catfish and chips with a mango beer, my wife had the grilled red snapper, and my son had the carnitas. Chef David and co-owner Umberto were very welcoming. Wow!!! Definitely a revisit. ”
“ We don't live in Riverside, but we are here for the airshow. So we ramdonly google for restaurants in the neighborhood. Highly commendable!!! Very tasty!! You saved my life because I had a terrible meal this morning (that restaurant is also highly rated but really average. Got ripped off so was in a bad mood). ”
“ Absolutely love this place! The food and staff are wonderful. The chef Roberto took the time to chat with us and we could not have been happier with the service. We will definitely be coming back soon. :-) *edit: came back again, and they added new margaritas to the menu! I had the Diablo and my boyfriend had the Blackberry, both are delicious. 10/10 , would margarita again! ”
“ We found this place randomly and the food was amazing!! We were promptly sat down, got our drinks and food within 15 minutes. The agua frescas were so good! Seafood tasted fresh and was vibrant We'll definitely be returning xx ”
“ We came after reading reviews and the reviews did NOT lie! Our bill was a bit pricey but it was definitely worth our spend. We left FULL. The place is small and the only thing that was a bummer was they advertise “happy hour” but it was not the “happy hour” you would normally get anywhere else drink option wise. They only have bottled drinks but they a pretty decent small selection. And my snapper was not the full fish like I’m used to, but it was still delicious. Other than that it was great :) ”
“ Eat here!! All the food was amazing. The chips and salsa both homemade. Best red snapper I’ve had and at a great price. Even a good sangria. You must try! Service was truly amazing too. The one server was on top of it. Hope it will still be here when I’m in town next time. ”
“ Anyone who follows me knows that I am always in search of good seafood. This comes about because I do not particularly like fish but I seek it out, owing to needing to eat it every Friday for health reasons. This is a somewhat obscure little cafe near the wildly popular Portillo's Hot Dog restaurant. It has only five tables and a three-stool counter. While I was here, the PA system was playing exceedingly relaxing New Age music. The All Gender rest room was sparkling clean. The young lady who took my order and served my food was very pleasant and quite knowledgeable about the offerings. I chose the grilled red snapper, upon her recommendation. It was well-seasoned and blackened on one side. It was served with tomato rice and a salad (although she pointed out that I could chose other sides). The fish was very tender and flavorful, but it was a bit dry for my palate. It was served with a house-made tartar sauce (which I mistook for salad dressing) that was quite good. Speaking of the salad, it was very fresh and crispy, and included several vegetables not found in the usual stuff that comes out of a bag. I chose a bottled Coke to drink because she verified that it was imported from Mexico. I requested a glass of ice for the beverage and was delighted to discover that it was an actual tumbler made of glass. Overall, this was a pleasant discovery for me. The atmosphere is low key and the food was quite good. I will definitely be back. Black Pearl Seafood is Highly Recommended. ”
